With an eye for quality, attention to detail, and a knack for translating technical capabilities into key benefits and simple workflows, I helped set marketing strategy for Accelo within the B2B SaaS industry. As an expert on Accelo's buyers, I also helped their sales team with sales enablement materials that communicated the company's value proposition.
Maadly is a gamified social media app that allows users to broadcast snippets of their lives and who they are with text, photo, and video to people at random to grow their Karma Score. The higher your score, the more people you'll reach. The fun is that you never know who'll receive your broadcasted content and you never know who'll decide to engage with it.
I was selected from a list of applicants from around the world to be a part of Hult International Business School's Global Ambassador Program. I curated and created compelling business and career related content for current and prospective students. I participated in online conversations, monitored forums, and reinforced the Hult brand over various social media platforms. I played an important role in contributing to Hult's international branding strategy.
I managed all of the marketing and the public relations for the Net Impact chapter at Hult International Business School, San Francisco. This included writing all of the online content, communicating the organization's culture to students, and promoting Net Impact events online and on campus. I also worked on building relationships with outside contacts and potential supporters for future events and workshops. Net Impact at Hult is a student-led community attempting to create positive change in the workplace and the world.
As a Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs Parliamentary Intern for Dr. Carolyn Bennett, the Member of Parliament for St. Paul's, Toronto (now Canada's Minister of Indigenous and Northern Affairs), I provided support to her on a daily basis. I maintained the online database with constituents information as well as groups and organizations that have relations with Dr. Bennett. This included managing all the correspondence between Dr. Bennett's office and the residents of her riding, among others. Apart from this, I was responsible for doing various degrees of research for Dr. Bennett and assisted with the drafting and editing of legislative documents. I often assisted with English to French translation and vice-versa.
As the Program Coordinator for Legal Logik and then its sister company, Ticket Aide, I oversaw more than one-hundred clients. This included managing clients' various court dates and their respective documents. I acted as a liaison between the client and the designated attorney in regards to answering e-mails, providing basic information, setting appointments, and following up on the progress of files.
I received my Masters in International Marketing, a program that explores marketing on a global scale with the most international student body in the world. I learned valuable general skills in management and strategy, with specialized knowledge in branding, consumer behavior, new product development, marketing analytics, and digital marketing.
I received my Bachelor of Arts majoring in Political Science and minored in both Anthropology and Communications. I focused on comparative politics and international relations specifically and decided to specialized in cultural anthropology. I took particular interest in the kinds of policies surrounding new media, technology, and the Internet at large, which led me to focus my communications minor on the theme of media governance.
I received my Diploma of Collegial Studies in North-South Studies, a profile under the social sciences designed for students interested in exploring the living and working conditions of the developing world. As part of my program, I spent one month living in Nicaragua with a host family. While there, I attended conferences on international development, education, and business and also participated in community projects.
I had the pleasure of working directly with Arielle on Product Feature Launches and partnerships at Accelo. Arielle lead a series of strategic initiatives that resulted in increased conversions and ROI across multiple marketing channels.
